Three Sales, Two Auctions and a Week of Growth Across Central Auckland

Three Sales, Two Auctions and Strong Buyer Competition Across Central Auckland

It's been a rewarding week for our team, with three properties successfully sold and plenty happening both inside and outside of real estate.

This week we celebrated the sale of three very different homes across Central Auckland.

At 4/4 Lauchlan Street, Epsom, competition was strong from the outset. We had five registered bidders, with every single party actively participating in the auction. It created exactly the environment we aim for when taking a property to market – genuine competition and multiple buyers wanting the same home. After some spirited bidding, there could only be one successful purchaser, and we're thrilled for both our sellers and the new owners.

14 Mapau Road, Greenlane also attracted excellent interest, with four registered bidders attending auction day. Following a short negotiation, the property sold under the hammer, delivering another fantastic result for our vendors.

Meanwhile, 17 Lancing Road, Sandringham went unconditional this week. This one was particularly special. After more than 30 years in the same family, the home is now preparing to begin its next chapter with new owners. Being part of these transitions is one of the things we love most about real estate. Homes hold decades of memories, and it's always a privilege to help families move from one stage of life to the next.

Congratulations to all of our buyers and sellers.

The Power of Competition

The two auction results this week were another reminder of why we continue to believe in creating competition wherever possible.

Five registered bidders in Epsom. Four registered bidders in Greenlane.

When buyers are competing directly, sellers are able to see true market demand unfold in real time. Every campaign is different, but our focus remains the same: maximise exposure, leave no buyer behind, and create an environment where the market can determine value.

Cooper & Co Summit

Away from the auctions, Abbey and I attended the Cooper & Co Summit this week.

It was a fantastic event featuring a range of inspiring speakers, industry leaders and business professionals. One of the highlights was hearing from James Laughlin, author of Habits of High Performers, a book focused on the habits, disciplines and routines that help people perform at their best in both life and work.

The timing couldn't have been better.

Over the past few months Abbey and I have been working on our own habit-stacking journey, focusing on fitness, health and building routines that create more energy and consistency.

One of the biggest takeaways from the summit was something we've been talking about a lot recently: fitness isn't just about fitness.

Being healthy gives you more energy for your children. More capacity for your friends. More focus in business. More patience at home. More ability to show up as the best version of yourself for the people around you.

In many ways, it becomes the foundation that everything else is built upon.

Looking Ahead

As we head into another week, we're grateful for the trust our clients place in us and excited about the opportunities ahead.

Whether it's helping a family move after 30 years, navigating a competitive auction environment, or continuing to learn and grow personally and professionally, we're reminded that progress comes from consistently showing up and doing the little things well.

Have a great week.
